Lost and Found

I am back in Copenhagen after a long 30 hours of flights from Sydney to Denmark. I hardly know how get back to normal life and write normal blog posts again; this time my soul never made it back with me and will forever live somewhere in the outback. I would want to go back tomorrow if possible.
I have a lot of work to sink my teeth into fortunately. Have transferred all RAW files from Lightroom 2.1 on my laptop to my main workstation and have developed exactly 1 RAW file! A sentimental can-stare-at-this-forever-brings-back-memories Hawk Dreaming at dusk silhouette shot:

Welcome back Flemming ! (if that makes any sense or if it's a place you even 'want' to be). Returning home from any trip or holiday to the reality of a 'normal' life always sucks – especially if it's a trip such as this.
Such beautiful light from the post sunset glow and perfect exposure – Did you use ND grad ?
I suggest you just keep staring for a while longer and forget about work and routine life !
Flemming I just read your post on Tony's blog about the sun and the effect on the water, that's the best tip Ive had in a longtime and perfect timing as I leave for Phi Phi Island on Friday. Thank you.
Tony; thanks and you're absolutely right – welcome back hardly makes sense to me anymore. I don't know where my "back" is heh.
I do think I used a 2 stop ND grad on this shot to get a bit of foreground and 1 sec exposure to get movement in the palms and really capture that gorgeous dusk glow.
I will follow your advice! Keep staring at the sun; forget about the rest!
Casey, you're welcome mate! Any tropical bluer than blue water shots must be done midday where the sun can really pierce through the water, especially important to know as well if you're going up in a helicopter to shoot corals for example. Have a brilliant trip!
Welcome back! I've been reading your blog and admiring your photography for a while now. This is my first comment though. I'm looking forward to some more pictures from Denmark, but I suppose those won't be coming for a while as we continue to feast on your Australian adventures.
